The photo and video sharing social media platform owned by Meta said content creators based in the United States would initially get this opportunity.

According to Instagram, followers have to buy different denominations of Stars (Stars) in virtual currency from the Instagram app to send money to their favorite content creators. Stars will be available for purchase from $0.99 to $5.99. As a result, users can view exclusive content from their favorite creators by gifting stars as needed.
Select creators can activate the gift tool by logging into their Instagram dashboard. After launching the tool, creators can enable the option to gift content as per their choice. Creators can earn direct income with the opportunity to convert stars earned from followers into virtual currency.
